Hey how's it going,
I usually go to main billiards or stevie d's in west hamilton, not exactly fancy bars but they are cheaper and have lot's of pretty good tables. Your in ancaster there's a celebrity billiards on upper james that supposed to be nice, but table's are more pricey than the other two places and for me I could care less about the decor. I play league in grimsby, and it's nice out there but far for you.

I actually play at Main about 2-3x per week. been going there for about 8 years.

Best pool hall is end pocket on upper James. Two gold crown tables and a bunch of black crown. Every table will play consistent. I used to go there every day to bang balls around. Damn work getting in the way of fun.
Celebrity is garbage and you have to worry about getting stabbed.
Main Billiards has some really nice snooker tables. A couple really shitty leather pocket dufferin 9fts and two good (very tall) gold crown tables.
Boulevard used to be really nice, they're probably due for a reclothing. Stevie Ds is the worst of the bunch. The guy tried to make it nice. I'm just not a fan of anything to do with the place.

Well there was a stabbing at end pocket about a month ago, the crowd that goes there is horrible, all kids drinking their face off. I find main to the best, always clean and plenty of people to always play there. I'm there about 3-4x a week.
There was not a stabbing at end pocket, that was celebrity.
Occasionally you will have people drinking on a Friday or Saturday. I tend to be working those days so I'm there during the week. I've personally never had a problem and I've been going there for years.
Main is a nice place. Those gold crowns play pretty decent, just way too tall. The leather pocket tables need new rubber. Good sets of balls there. Ed and co do a good job.
