First off, for myself, I'd give up the call 8 or two games on the wire, but not both. I think they're about equal, depending on the opponent. Same person, no way would I give up the 7. Different player, depends on how well he/she plays and if I'm playing strong enough to give that much up. The better players always say games on the wire are better for the one getting the spot, but I've never felt that way myself.
After a few moments thought, I'd give up the call 7 but not the wild 7.

Forgot to ask, is this head-to-head action, tournament match, league match, for fun? I haven't given this kind of weight head-to-head since I moved to SC. I have given it in tournaments and both won and lost.
