July,4th 2008 means much more to me than just another day that I am off of work . I thank God that i am an Americain! No matter what the current climate of leadership is here in America, this still is the greatest country in the world, we as Americains should never take for granted our rights ( especially voting ) here in this great land of ours . This is a day to be glad that you are an Americain and live in a democracy because so many people in this world are not as priviledge as we are .

I will fire up the pit, throw a few sirloins and ribs on the grill and enjoy myself along with my family . I have some corona on ice as we speak, so I am planning on having a great time .

Not to sound preachy, but please drink responsibly people and be careful if you're traveling on the highway .

God Bless, good shooting & happy 4th

Hope you have a great day.

I am mixing together a little pool, BBQ, poker and some adult beverages.
Topped off with Fireworks and I dont even have to leave the BBQ to see them.

Some friends (mainly league group) are having a BBQ with poker and pool tournaments. My friend and I are grilling some Carne Asada and Chicken.
Also doing some Satay beef and pork.

Check this link out. It is so cool. You must have Java enabled for it to work, though.

Just click your mouse anywhere and enjoy. The more you click your mouse, the more fireworks. How do they make things like this: http://www.maylin.net/Fireworks.html

Here I have mainly seen it used for tacos. We grilled 15 pounds of it yesterday along with 10 pounds of chicken. The chicken is cut very similiarly to a flank steak. Its all marinated for a couple days then
a little grilling and chopping. Add cilantro, onions, cheese, crema or whatever you would like.

I also take the same meat and make a mediterranean version that you can stuff into a pita.

Hope you had a good 4th. I can still feel the effects of mine
