Hard oil finish on laminate shaft

Has anyone tried to use a hard oil finish on a predator shaft? OB or any other laminate shaft. I didn't know if the laminated shafts would hold up with this finish.

I don't see any issue with our shafts. That goes for the original laminated/spliced shafts that have recently been discontinued as well as the new solid maple/spliced + shafts we just released last month.
