Hard to see yourself missing....

Ratta

Hearing the balls.....
Silver Member
After about 6-7 month with my knee problem, it was clear that walking half a year with support only will cause some back-problems. Now ve had shoulder problems for a week with wearing a shoulder-support/bandage i was able to spend time at the table today. I was so excited to hit some balls again...-so started to play a bit. Further i wanted to make some little video-scenes for some students.
But, LOL- while watching the vids....oh my god- of course i didn t feel already like being able to do a triathlon- but watchin myself now is teasing me really. Played well-means, i shot the balls, but....i often come up/stand up in my stroke. This is makin me crazy, lol. Unfortunatley no instructor available now. I think all nice guys here know how hard it is, to work yourself on your mistakes and failures. But already just to see, that i m doing something which ireally didn t make for so long......is like falling back about 30 years, rofl.
I think i m gonna have a good Jack Daniels this evening-perhaps this helps not being angry to myself :)
Video Analysis for the win :p

Funny thing is- a guy wondered that i was *hollering* at myself,a nd talking to myself (not loud! :p)..."why are you angry? you re shooting the lights out?"- i just told em that each shot was more almost an accident....-he was a bit confused, rofl.

So all of you guys, who re going to visit one of the S-P-F Family in the near future: Video is the best you can do for yourself....pain included, lol!

Being able to see what we are doing wrong, makes it much easier to work on fixing the problems.

Hang in there. You know what you have to do.
