Thanks for the report Tom! I stopped by Hardtimes Sunday afternoon and Chohan was working on setting up a big game with Morro or King Kong, did it ever happen? Thanks again for the results...........Marc Swisher

Good for Mike Massey! I figured Mike Davis would do well too. His game was looking pretty strong against Parica early. Thanks for posting the results Tom! I couldn't get there Saturday and Sunday because of family commitments.

Chohan played Paez 9-ball 7 ahead, Chohan won.

Sambajon and Schimdt played One Pocket 4 ahead, Schimdt won.

In the ring game it was a seesaw battle between Frost and Schimdt, until they were the last two players. Schimdt was all in and won the game, then it was Frost who was all in the next rack. But Schimdt was flaming hot, he got hook by Frost on the 2 ball, then he made a long kick shot to get on the 2, made it and got shape for the 3 and then runs out. He was too hot for the Freezer to handle.

Thanks all for your post results! Yeah for Mike Massey and us guys over 50. Couldnt happen to a nicer guy.
Whats happening to Jose? Seems like he is in a bad slump since coming in second at the US Open.

Yobagua,

I don't know how true this is but someone at the tournament was telling me that Parica was complaining about having pain in his legs. He certainly wasn't playing up to par that's for sure. I saw him playing in one of the smaller tournaments they had there ($50 race to 4). He was playing this guy I never saw before and this guy was funny. He kept cracking jokes and Parica was laughing and I think the set was 3 to 3 and the guy was shooting to get out but missed and Parica won the set. He slapped his chest and said, "I finally beat someone!"

Yeah, his legs seems to be hurting, I saw him massaging it last Sunday. But it did'nt affect him when he played and win in the mini tournament.

I wonder why?

Tom,

The flyer I received mentioned a one hole event during the week. Did it come off? If so, some results please. Thanks.

I don't mean to get in Tom's way, but thought I'd give you a quick answer in case you'd like to know before Tom logs on and answers. The 1P tournament took place earlier in the week. Tom posted the results under the thread "Hardtimes Billiards Results", which is (or was) on the third page of threads on the menu.

One Hole Results

I don't have the complete results for you Cardiac but I watched the finals. Billy Palmer won by beating Scott Frost 4 to 1. Billy played a heck of a game.

Thanks for the heads up Tom. I was still in Vegas most of last week and missed your earlier post! I spoke with Billy at the Cue Club in Vegas about his game. I met him at the DCC for the first time this year. Seems like a great guy. Definitely a great player. He remembered me as "Hey NY"

This is my first time to go to a big tournament and it was a wonderful experience. I was there for 4 days and my routine was alot of pool, food (whenever I remember), and sleep (so that I wont be sleepy when its pool time).
