GREAT event by BADBOYS!! Love it that they allow dreams to come true (title tournaments are life-long goals for us pool players!). Runnng and setting up tourneys are hard work. Steve, Ric, and everyone who helped and worked deserve so much more kudos than they ever hear.

Thank you Melinda, the kind words are much appreciated. I would be remiss if I didn't give the credit to who really deserves it. I referee this event every year and look forward to it just like Vegas. Seeing all the familiar faces of old and meeting new ones is fun. I help out now with a little local coordination since I live here.
Ric and Bonnie Jones do a great tournament and Kenny Jones running the table technician service, Bret Baker (Another Referee from Oregon) handling tournament desk duties and helping run mini tournaments.
Dwayne Payne, Bill Daugherty and Don Sanchez and Billy all came in to Referee from Oklahoma and Kristie Womack and myself from Texas.
Ron Geyer running the cue repair/sales booth.
This was one of the better tourneys I can remember or maybe I just think so since it's the last one at that location.
Lots of really good pool (and some bad) :thumbup:

By the way, congratulations to Melinda and her team for winning the women's team event!!! You gals shot great!!
I had a good run myself and made it to the final 4 of the winners bracket, until I ran into the phenom from Switzerland. I still had a pretty good showing of 5-6th though.
Ric was saying some good things about the new venue next year. Sounds like it will be a big improvement.
