Harris cues?

In the next few months i'm going to get a new cue. I might get an omen, great rep and he lives 10min away. I love murrells and jmws but a little out of my price range for now. Anyways, I just found out about Harris cues, and the veneers are sick, nice inlay work, and priced right. Omen cues I know play well. Anyone have experience with Harris cues? Reputation? Thanks.

I dont know much about Bob Harris cues, but i can tell you Ted Harris knows his SHIT!

10 times Maryland state all around champion Tom Vanover can and will vouch for MR. TED HARRIS!
 
I also play with a Ted Harris and nothing else, I've owned almost every high end cue out there - Szam, Searing, Haley, Southwest, Manzino, Tad, Scruggs, Joss West and its a Ted Harris in my case
 
I hope someone out there has played with an omen and a Harris for comparison. How's the hit on a Harris? Everyone raves about omen cues, but i'm not a big fan of his designs. Also noticed Harris doesn't have a piloted joint which I like

Yeah, I saw a lot of his cues. That style of cue I love. Love the contrasts of veneers, the finish is spectacular. Inlays are nice, juma I believe. I'd prefer some higher quality inlay material. I am considering a build but if it doesn't play well......I want a fancy cue, i'm not locking it up, daily player. Also, maybe some ideas for a fancy player around $1,500?
 
Those are Robert Harris cues. I have one and have been to his shop a few times.hes a class act strickly business and makes a great cue. A lot of peopple play with his cues like stoney stone and mitch yarbrough. Plus he takes care of his customers. He sponsors a few tournament's in the panhandle of florida and he gives shirts to every one in the tournament. At the last one at starcades there was like 16 of us wearing his shirts, it was pretty cool. I remember a buddy of mine messed his shaft up the night before starcades and rob just gave him a loaner shaft and then cut him a deal on a knew one because he felt bad for the guy. Rob genuinely enjoys makeing cues and seeing people play with his cues.

They hit really good his sticks are nice I have shoot with a few. I do know he is trying to rid of a lote and you can coustem the way you what all the way down to the diameter of the butt end> some of his cues like the six point up and down he prices them around 1000 to 1200 but trust me you can talk him down to 800. his number is 850-896-9891 just tell him you know jhon dalay> jhon gets a bunch of his cues and sells them for a profite around cloumbus ga,....hope this helps
