Is there such a person?

I have 2 examples, one has a date but not the other. I'm mostly wondering about the other, but the one with a date is signed to a player. Kinda curious on the player but not hopeful that the customer was notable.

Of course both cues are typical Martin.. BEM butt with no nothing else.
The pins are different in a couple ways, the most interesting to me is they have a different pitch.
I'm hoping that clue might lead to a date time frame.

Just curious is all.

I bought a lot of items from the Martin shop. PM photos, I'll see if anything I have matches the materials on the undated cue to help with an era

3/8-8 was a standard machine screw for a long time (19th century - present day). Now it is commonly an acme thread

3/8-10 came out in the late 1960s, as previously noted

3/8-12 was also used in machining and the Martin shop, and that is where the Tad shop seems to have picked up the idea

Thanks
When I get home, I'll try to find my thread pitch gauge and send you a note.
