Has anyone (custom or production) made a 3 piece 20" per piece cue?

I'm just wondering as I travel on and off for business, usually short trips and so I don't want to go through the hassle of checking a bag. I generally carry on a small (21-22") suitcase plus a backpack with laptop, etc in it. I'd like to be able to bring along my own cue as I realize how much I hate shooting with wrapless fiberglass chipped up cues with dead 14mm tips on them :D

So a 3 piece cue that each segment was 20" would be optimal, if they were ever made. Any ideas?

Yes, sectional cues for traveling on airplanes have been built.
Cal Hedden built the nicest one I have seen. You can see it on Dick Abbott's site.

They aren't going to let you carry-on a pool cue. Period. It is on the TSA's list.

true, I hadn't realized that till you said it and I looked at the regulations. Still i'd rather have a cue that will go inside my normal traveling luggage to check it vs checking a cue case alone. My normal suitcase is a hard sided one, so good protection in that respect at least. Knowing how "gently" the airlines aren't with luggage, I wouldn't want to just put my 3x5 case into checked luggage.

Some time ago there was a thread re a 3 piece cue.
Don't remember if it was Fred (Cornerman) or not.

It was a nice looking cue with an envelope case.

It would fit in an average size suit case nicely.

That one came from an AZ thread. I happened to save it because I wanted one too that I could easily strap to the handle bars of the Harley. If you were to search for travel cue or 3 piece cue, you might find the thread.

I'm sure that just about any of the makers here would be glad to make you one like that.

Now that you said his name, if I remember correctly, Sheldon Lebow was the maker mentioned in the thread with the pic I posted.
