Has anyone ever heard of Lone Stare or Lonestar cues?

I am curious if anyone has ever heard of Lone Star or Lonestar cues?

I meant to note Lone Star (not Lone Stare) in the title, lol.

Here is their website.

http://lonestarcues.com/

If anyone here has played with one before, then please tell me if you liked it?

Is the quality of their cues good in any ones opinion?

Thanks

Don't know about the cues, but he's the only one that can give Dark Helmet the raspberry.

Yes, I've heard of them. However, I've never personally seen one.

Yogurt! I hate yogurt! Even with strawberries.

I just got to work and I'm already cracking up laughing.

"We've been jammed!"

justinb386, I'm sorry I just ruined your thread :o

On the other hand, it brought a smile to several people at least

I would call and talk with them and see what kind of vib you get. The web site says their production is only 12 cues a year. I would say they are like any numbers of guys making cues around the country no one has heard of. They may do good work but who knows. Sounds like they mostly work local

Lol, well, they were some funny replies. Can I at least assume that there are a lot of really great cue makers in the US that are not known by most of the az community? Maybe I should have started a new thread with that question.

You are right. The equipment is available and so in the knowledge. With some effort almost anyone with the inclination can build cues.It really is not brain surgery. Bob Manzino started in what looked like a small bedroom with a Hightower cue lathe and in a short time was turning out world class work.

I knew a guy namer Louis Espasito who was a player and he told me about his nephew who was starting to build cues. Being the cue nut was he knew I would order a cue so he was drumming up business for his nephew. I ordered one of the first cues he made that was not sold to a friend locally. Espo's nephew was Gus Szamboti. You never know who will be the next cue making star.

have you gotten in touch with them yet? i just noticed the site says last modified 2006 curious if theyre still around.
