Has anyone ever shot with an lp custom cue

Excellent. One of the best kept secrets that is getting less kept. Lee knows how to make a cue give you what you want. His pricing is wow, incredible low, and his turn around time is very good, too. Highly recommend him.

That's the ticket

Agreed..... I have a Tru Balance conversion that Lee did. The cue hits excellent, and his shaft wood is top notch.

I have sold or custom built cues for over a dozen (more like 20) of AZ members.

We got two so far.
Lets hear from the rest.

Thanks

LP Custom Cues

Put it this way. I am currently shooting with an LP Conversion and my Schon hasn't seen any daylight from the case since. Not that I don't like my Schon still but let's just say my LP from day one feels so natural and hits so sweet. I don't even have an interest on upgrading the shaft. I like it just the way it is. If you are thinking of one better do it quick cuz I give Lee about another year and you are going to end up being put on a waiting list.

Anyone that has read my posts, knows that I am very picky about my builder, and why.

Although some may make better cues, or more collectible, or more expensive, or better brand recognition, or even better re-sale (I have NO idea about this).........

I went with Lee because his rep for hit is unsurpassed, and he talks cues in a way I like and understand.

When I get mine, I'll post a complete review. However, the other poster is right. If he comes anywhere close to what I want, his wait time is going to explode. (how do I know this? Well, I tried one of the first cues from a beginner some years back. I loved that cheaper (in price only) cue, for it's play. Now, I can't afford him or his wait time):sorry:

you won't be dissappointed with the hit and playability. The balance on them is just right (for me) as well. Whole lot of cue for little price. I've got one comming this week.

his cues are great and he is a true gentlemen to deal with...stop reading this and pm lee or email him and get a cue!

I at one point owned and played with the 2nd cue he made for public offering, and let me tell you, it was supurb! I can only imagin what the current offerings are like!

Out of all the cues I have owned, miss that one the most! Still havnt been able to replace it, but it served a great cause...

He is a great builder to deal with, he builds a cue for you, and your style. If you dont know what that is, he will help you find out and expalin everything along the way!

he made me a true balance,it was as nice looking as any i ever saw,he made me a very stiff shaft at my request,i got what i asked for but it was too stiff,i turned it down and it was a truly great cue.afriend of mine took it and uses it as his player.

in short,i am recomending lee to you

I have one of Lee's Dufferin conversions and I am completely satisfied with it. The shaft is quite stiff, which I prefer, and it's a very fine playing cue. (For those of you who are looking for that "tonk" sound, here's where you get it.)
