Has Anyone Ever Witnessed This In 3-cushion?

a person attempting a shot, missing the ball completly by accident, but then scoring the point, but a bank!?

I did that playing Ray Schuler late one night in his factory when everyone had gone home. We were playing on his 1925 table. I had a few scotches and that might have affected my vision. When I make a fluke, score a point I did not intend or get a lucky roll into a point. I come back up and tap the opponents ball to score a foul, nullify the point and I go sit down. In my mind, Billiards is not 9 ball and luck shots have no part of that game. Yes I realize my standards are above most and most laugh at this. :D

Luck shots? If you play a shot ...intending to make the point using only 3 rails and you make it by missing the shot and then backing up into the point? "lucky??" Good players just do it far less.......
