Let me know what you think of them, the marketing seems good and makes me want to think they will play like original mooris...not sure if I want to waste the money though without hearing from anyone..
Thanks,
Tim

See I don't know; but what I found is funny is that Players does not even supply their own tips on their shafts... they come with Kamui tips.

Not with this ones...but if u looking for an tip with great quality and the feel of the old mooris, try an G2 tip....

Thanks I tried a g2 medium and liked it but quickly sold the shaft. So I didn't get enough time with it. One thing is that it seemed a little quiet for me. I shot with a Moori recently and I likes the elasticity and the sounds that it made on impact. It mushroomed and got hard pretty quick though. These pure x tips say about a satisfying sound that they make so I thought I would try them. Just wanted some feedback first.
Thanks,
Tim

Well I actually tried a medium back around when I first posted the thread. I just didn't have time to write a review. I guess my tip was made before this new glue was used
??

I can say that it definitely grips the cue ball good and had a good sound to hit when you struck the cue ball. I think that it hit softer than I expected and I had a few layers removed and liked it a lot better. I think its definitely a tip to check out. I will be trying the hard next time since I do like a harder hit but hoping I'll have grip with it too.

The only thing is I guess they use this different gllue now so the new ones might hit differently than mine, but I guess its supposed to be better so I'll let you know when I get a chance to get one and play with it.

I have two of the, I think, new tips coming in the mail. Should get them Monday or Tuesday. Will get one installed on my playing shaft and write a review in a few weeks.

I have been playing with my new tip for a month and a half and really like it. I have it cut down to three layers with a little more than a nickel radius. Shaft is 12.7 mm. I ordered a soft tip. It feels almost like a medium now. It is not showing any sign of glazing. Does not feel mushy, has a firm but kind of soft hit. Everyone that I have let try my cue has liked it. The only thing I don't like about the tip is that it does not make a sound.

Thanks for the review. The medium tip that I originally had was a different logo. I believe they switched the glue formula or maybe it was the same as in my tip and just did different marketing...not really sure, but I found mine to be opposite. I thought mine was too soft as a medium at first. So I played with it and took off 2-3 layers and it firmed up just right. I'd say it feels like a medium now and doesnt even think about mushrooming or glazing. Also, mine has a certain sound. Maybe its more pronounced since its harder than your tip I'm guessing. I really like these tips and am looking to try them on my other shafts. I'm also liking a g2 medium at the moment too.
