I wasn't to impressed with Jeff's performance in the match above. Seems like he's a couple/few balls back from Biado's level. He can get out, but he's got quite a ways to go to reach the 1st-Tier Pinoy level...

here are some more matches of jeff diaz and johann chua that show a little better level of play. from what ive heard, jeff diaz can, and pretty much has beat everybody over there. he beat alcano like 20 something to 8 playing 10 ball and spotting him the 9.

Speaking of only American players when talking about the tiers is foolish. There is only one full time professional pool player in the entire USA and he is the only tier 1 player.

The tier 1 players are the best players in the world, there are probably about 20 of them, and Dennis Hatch is in no way one of them.

I am not saying he is not talented, but tier 1 guys are SVB, Orcullo, Wu, Ko, Hohmann, ect... level guys. Hatch is simply not equal to any of those guys.

So where do you rank Hatch in the USA only? Top 10?

All I know is that his worst game is still phenomenal and his best is unbeatable. As an emotuonal player he will struggle at times to hit his best gear. Hes definitely in the top 10 in this country still. If there was more to play for he would be a total monster.

SVB is light years ahead of everyone, that is undeniable. Not even a close 2nd in the US.
