Yesterday, 4-4-08 was the last day working at the Sands for Curlyscues, aka Curly, the Great Curled One. He had work there for more than 11 years, most of those the midnight to 8:00 shift.

He is well liked by all except the few that do not know how to behave and was free with his knowledge of pool from the lowliest of bangers to up and coming players.

And now the good news. With all this free time he now has available he will be able to finally get around to making the shaft I have been asking for, for almost a year. LOL

Good luck to you buddy, the Sands will not be the same without you!

I needed a change of scenery and now i might even have time to play once in a while too.

The end of an era

we will all miss the great curled one at the sands.....late at night....on the phone......with me or lonnie.

a man of the people really.....liked to eyeball the 20 somethings in tight jeans....would stare at allot of the young girls too....yup...wont be the same.

now were stuck with this guy mike.....whoever the hell he is.

Okay, now that I've stopped choking! :eek: LOL

I didn't hear about a Mike replacing Curly, but now that you mention it, it could be the Mike from Sands East. It makes sense because I heard that Sands East was ceasing the 24/7 hours and Sands West will remain 24/7/365.
