Heading back to Atlanta...

this weekend for a couple of weeks, to visit my dad and friends, and conveniently enough, take my first real pool clinic, run by Tom Simpson at the Pool Room (Duluth). Rather handy that he scheduled his Atlanta clinic for the time I was going to be out there anyhow.

Any other locals going to be in this clinic?

Have fun Scott, Tom is a good guy and good teacher. I personally don't think you need his help, but perhaps he can get you on the right track. At least he won't be like Andrew. : )

And yeah, I could use the help. I'm hoping I'll have my game a notch or two higher a little while after that clinic's done... just hafta see.

Any idea when the Sunday 9-ball tournament at the Bit is going to kick in again? Now that it's after Labor Day weekend, I figure it's about time...

I imagine pool tournaments around the country will start picking up now that fall is in the air. Of course, "The Bit" may have seen the last of its tournament days? I hope not. Lot's of good pool around Hotlanta...don't hustle too many unsuspecting marks. ; )
