Heads up for Executive West reservations

I just made my hotel reservations at the Executive West in January for the Derby City Classic. On the website the standard room rate was $129 I started to make my reservations online but there was a note on the web page that I almost overlooked stating that if you are coming for an event to call the hotel number and not use the online system. When I called the hotel the Derby City Classic rate was $69/night. That is $60/night less…WHEW!! Be sure to and call and talk to a live person so you can ask for the Derby City Classic rate. Don’t use the online reservation system on the Executive West website!

I think I posted in the tournament thread that I was hoping to go if I could get a few local pals to go. Did they tell you the max number of people per room? Hearing that this good rate exists definitely gives me some incentive. Has there been a thread started about who all from AZB will be there?

Usually it's a Max of 4 to a room. But the hotel police don't usually do a head count.
