Heavy Hitter

Of course you are all right. I do not get out enough to play and have no way to transport myself and also have no idea where I should be headed to find a friendly game of pool.

In that one sentence you could probably find my answer to the other comments as well. I have no intention to play competitively, to me it is a game to be enjoyed more than anything else.

I also agree that I SHOULD always play to my ability, but when I have the predicament of play down to the ones I have the opportunity to play with or not play at all you may see my problem better.

To describe the places I have found nearby that I have actually found to play, let me start by saying it is not as social as I would like. These are places where you go up to the counter and ask for a table, they take your I.D. and you pay by the hour/amount of players when done. I have only ever seen groups (no more than 4) of people come in, stay as a group, and then leave. they may take turns playing within their group but never anyone else in the building. it makes sense (in my mind) because if you had a more mingling atmosphere in these places you could not charge by the hourly rate adjusted by people per table.

now I am sure there are other places to go but as of yet i have not found any that will let me in to play as I am still below 21.
