Hello everyone and thank you in advance for your advice and opinions.

I was looking at a Joel Weinstock custom from Cuemaster and he told me that it is a heavy cue, but a "monster Cue". First of all, what does that mean?

He then stated that with a lighter cue, you can finesse and pocket a ball easier compared to a heavier cue. Can someone also elaborate on the difference.

Thanks

It's all a matter of perspective. Everybody prefers different things. The weight of the cue shouldn't have any direct correlation to the action it puts on the ball. It's all in how you stroke it. Some guys don't do well with a heavy cue while some guys do great with them.

It's all in the stroke and what feels good to you. That's why players order custom cues once they know what works for them. :)
