I have been reading and lurking on this forum for quite a long time. I have learned quite a lot from you all and want to say thank you. I have also learned that things have changed a lot from when I first started playing back in the late sixties.
I live in central Ohio, and its about 60 miles from me to the nearest "real" poolroom. Bar table 8-ball is about the only game played here. I drive to Columbus to play 9-ball occasionally.
I read the thread on Justis cases. Thanks for the info. I think I'll stick with my old porper 3x6. Maybe someday I'll get a Whitten. I also read the thread on what it takes to be a champion. It made me glad I've always worked a full time job and played pool for a hobby.
I will continue to read what you all have to say because usually you all are writing about the same things I want to know about. And I will look at what you have for sale because sometimes you have something I want to buy.
