Helmstetter & Adams Wanted

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this site and this is my first time posting. I've been surfing around this site and have found a great deal of useful information and better still, a willingness by this forum's members to share that information, with an occasional joke in-between. Perfect.

I'm looking for Helmstetter and Adam cues from the 80's and later models that have been discontinued. Please provide a description, price and a picture if possible. You can either post the picture here or IM them to me.

The Adam cues I've been seeing lately on E-bay are mostly DX models. A real shame what's beeing done to their name.

I have 2 of them. One is from the 70's w/decal points and a cortland wrap. 2 rings in butt cap w/ logo. The other one is older I think. The logo is on the forearm. Wrap is 2 colors. Red, black, red. I will post some pics.

I have an old Adams "Ritz" model for sale. It's a Bushka style cue - no decals. Mother of pearl dots and slotted diamonds in the points and butt. It's in good shape for an old cue. Got a few small dings but nothing major. Still has the original wrap (looks like Courtland). It has bit of rollout in the butt, and I had a new shaft made from the original collar. Only one shaft. I would take $350 + shipping. I accept paypal. Please PM me if interested...

I have two RCHD VIP´s with floting points, one midelrange and one expencive . They weare made in late 80´s, wonderfoul cues hitts very good!!!

Old Adams

I have these two. I have never seen one with the logo on the forearm. One is from the 70's and I don't know when the other one was made. One guy said his grandfather gave him one like it.

I just picked up an older Cicero Murphy model last week. Looks almost new, and does not appear to have ever been refinished. 1 shaft. Very straight 4 pointer, no inlays. The points are not even, however, but still a nice cue overall.

I can snap and send pics if you are interested. $300 shipped.
