Does anyone have a specific suggestion on how to easily remove the bondo/body putty out of the holes that were filled on a slate table. I am breaking my table down to move it and the holes where the slate screws go in were filled by the mechanic who installed it. Digging it out is tedious and drilling it makes me nervous about damaging the top of the screw as I drill down. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!!

I usually drill till i feel screw, and screwdriver and small hammer for end to clean. If you got hexagon, torx type screws then switch to smaller drill and drill inside hexagon also and use something small to clean the rest. After change screws. Done many times.

I punched little circles out of thin cardboard and put them on top of all screw heads, I'm hoping if I ever take my slate screws out all I have to do is bap them lightly with a hammer and a screwdriver to get the Bondo out.
