Help: embarrassing joint question.

I think I have discovered this is a unilock radial? But what kind of shaft joints will fit it? I only used the two that came with my Wayne but now they have a big roll in them. Is a 3x8 10 compatible? Thank you.

Does it have to be unilock radial or is it a 3/8 10 with a fancy name?

Radial only. Do the shafts roll straight by themselves? Is wobble only when assembled? Might just need refacing the joint. Kinda surprised if two high-quality shafts warped. How do you store it?

It's technically named unilock radial but everyone just says radial because there is another that is called unilock that is completely different also

So it's just radial for simplicity

They both have a large wobble in the center of the shaft. The center lifts off the table and then rolls around quick and hits the table. They roll off the butt and on. It probably was a storage issue. I have had it for several years and it may not always have been climate controlled.

Well .. that is the problem with wood - all wood, any wood - It can all warp and then your cue is toast. A friend had a very expensive custom, he paid big bucks, these days it has a cheap shaft because the original shafts, both of them, have warped.

Good luck.

To clarify, my understanding is that UNILOCK is the brand name of the pin. UNILOCK makes about 4 or 5 different pin threads for pool cues.. The RADIAL PIN is just one of the pin types made by UNILOCK..

To Clarify, to my understanding, UNILOCK is the brand name of the pin. UNILOCK makes 4 or 5 different types of pin threads for pool cues. The RADIAL PIN is just one of their pin types. There seems to be one type of their thread design that has been classified as "the" UNILOCK PIN. This may be causing some confusion. This information comes from what I was told and also read about UNILOCK.
