Help for a Friend

A friend of mine occassionally cleans out his pool magazines and gives them to me to pass on to my grandkids. He runs a small local tournament and called me recently to find an issue of last yrs BD that was detailed and scientific info about bad hits and good hits. My grandkids have given away the mags after, hopefully, reading them. Does anyone here have any idea what edition this article might have appeared in? Just a shot in the dark.
