This cue came to me by way of a friend who aquired it as many of is do and some frequently, when someone is hard up for cash sticks go first. I am not familiar with a 3 point Joss and have never seen one. I have no idea the value or history and would like to learn all I can. Now here is an interesting wrinkle. Parrot cues originally is in Charlottesville?? just north of Hampton Roads where I reside. Here's why that may ne important. There appears a finish on the butt that is clear and very very thick. Supposedly Parrot cues was always working to find an indestructible more or less finish that wore like steel and loomed like glass and didn't weigh a ton or change the diameter of sticks there's so much on it. Also the finish was applied over the buttcqp which appears tào be Derlin or such and the finish described above has yellowed on the Derlin and appears to be separating and bubbling. If more info os needed for one of you to help me...just lemme know. Thanks!

I don't think it is a Joss, cold be a Viking. Like to see the joint.

PM Bstroud

Bill Stroud aka bstroud said that he used WICO blanks on the first 3 Joss cues before he started making his own blanks. Send him a pm and have him look at it and he will tell you for sure if it was something he put together.

Thanks

I have added a pic of the joint as requested. Thanks for the suggestions, am reaching out to Mr. Stroud.

I'm thinking this 'Joss' was made in Asia.
The letters are wrong.
Dan Janes used to see copies at the trade shows and it irritated him.
They would stylize the Joss letters to avoid lawsuits.

'course, the Asians were just getting even....the word Joss came out of Macau.
It was a loan word from the Potugese that actually means Deos.
