Help identify a mystery cue!

I have no clue who made this cue, what I have been able to figure out by talking to a Cue maker friend is this:

It's a proper splice with multi-colored veneers, has metal rings, and a rubber bumper that had dried out and fell apart on removal.

Can't find any maker's mark or signature anywhere.

Help me AZB, you're my only hope...

Looks imported, highly likely an overseas copy of a custom cue. Just my guess
the build quality is higher than any Taiwan cue I've ever come across, it's too old to be Chinese, I guess it could be Adams but I've never seen something like this out of their factory.

Looks like Asian import to me too. Be surprised at quality some of the Taiwan shops put out. Looks like a good player.

I have something similar that I use as a guest cue. Labeled brand is Sly Foxx, and I think it was made by Kaokao in Taiwan.

I know you don't want to hear it but it is an Asian knock off cue. The giveaway is a little bit in the butt cap area. I sold hundreds of cues like that. The ones that Miz used to have made that sold at Kmart were surprisingly nice. they'll make them to whatever level of quality you want.

I collect Cobra's have about 15 of them, so it's not an insult but I'm also pretty familiar with cues from Kao Kao and the area.

I owned several SF's-They were damn good cheap cues- In fact Jacoby had no idea what it was, examined it and then offered me more than what i had paid for it- $60- It was a year old and i could tell he thought he was stealing. It was probably mid 90's and their extra shafts were $30. The cue in the pic doesn't look like any SFs i ever owned.

I’ll back the Kao Kao assumption. Or possibly the same factory that put out Nick Varner cues post Falcon.
