Help identify model

Does anyone know what model this Schon cue is? I bought it from an older gent in 50s or 60s around 2018 in Dallas. He had over 100 cues in his collection. He said it should be Runde era. It has 4 points in and I'm guessing from its age that those are ivory inlays. And in the grip, it has 6 points of inlay. Also, at the other side of the Schon stamp, there is a #2 stamped on it. Its got an old Schon stamp on the shaft. That's about it for the details. Any input would help, thinking of selling on ebay.

Any information on what the #2 stamped on the side might be? Have you seen Schon's with the grip fitted with inlays?

That would have been an Evan Clarke made schon, the shaft is older than the butt. The schon script is different on the mid 90s models.

Don't take any offense, but whats your background on cues? The shaft is not the original, from what I'm told from the gentleman I bought it from.

I’ve owned several schon cues, that shaft was a 1 year only design. It was made in 1993, before that, schon didn’t mark their shafts, after 93, the wrote their name on the shaft, the s that schon had early on in the r series and later in the st and some sl series where a lot more fancy script

Thanks for about the shaft. As stated, it was not the original shaft with the butt. Just wondering on why your guessing the butt is Evan Clark. Thanks for any info.

you can date the butt by the font of the logo, yours is a newer style, so it would be made by Evan Clarke or one of the newer cuesmiths

So from the Schon logos on you provided, mine looks like the Flat or Rounded S. Also in the picture of the three Schon cues, in this post, the plain Schon seems to be the oldest. As the original shaft does not have the Schon marking on the shaft.

Also, I have the dark cue up on an ebay listing. I thought it was Runde era and listed it. Any thoughts for me to change the post?
