Help identify this pin Shurtz cue

Can someone help identify this pin? It's a Shurtz cue. To me... This looks like 5/16-14.

The seller claims it's 3/8-10. I've had 3/8-10 cues in the past and this does not look like one.

0.31 = 5/16, alright. 3/8 would be 0.375.

5/16 is correct, i don't think I ever seen an insert used with a 3/8 X10 , and never piloted either.

5/16x14 piloted. Bob uses a 3/8x11 on his wood joint cues iirc.

You need a thread gauge to know for sure but 5/16 looks right. Could be 14 or 18 tpi

Never seen a BO cue with a 5/16x18. To coarse to be 18tpi. Count it for sure but it looks 14tpi to me.

McDermott has used a brass insert in some of thier 3/8x10 cues. I don't know why.

Update... Surprisingly Bob himself responded to an email and confirmed it IS a 5/16-14.

Heard good things about Bob's cue and most of off, it's a beauty.

Known him and his son Gabe quite a while. Bob is a master builder who does what he says. Answers messages fast too.
