Help identifying an old vintage CUE

Hi everyone. I don’t know if this is the correct place to post this, but I’m trying to help a friend get some more information on a Cue he has. He doesn’t know anything about it and he says there are no markings on the shaft at all. Thanks for anyone who can provide a little elucidation.

Case is definitely nice

Cue is import, but still cool for it's time.
