Help IDing Ricco cue

I have an opportunity to pick up an old Ricco Cervantes cue, but whould like to verify its authenticity. Anyone out there have experience/expertise with Ricco cues? What were his ID markings? Did he sign the cues? Any help appreciated.....

A local pool hall in the Minneaplis area has some Ricco cues. They have had them for sale for as long as I can remember. Here is a link to the site. They have pictures of them and the logo.

Try a google search too. I have seen other Ricco logos that are different.
 
When Ricco Cervantes was battling cancer and had gone home to Mexico,he sold all his remaining cues to Richie Powell at Planet 9-Ball. Richie passed away last year and I believe that he sold the lot to one of the online cue collector/sales people. The Ricco cues that I've seen have the word RICCO on the butt.You might call Robertson Billiard Supplies in Tampa for any furhter info on Ricco. The Ricco cues available at Planet 9-Ball were not fast sellers. My friend bought an $1,100 Ricco for $800 and had trouble getting rid of it. He finally got $300 for it. The one feature that I liked on Richie Powell's Ricco cue was the 'cue extension' which unscrewed from the buttcap, but I didn't like the black ferrule... Doug
 
Thanks for all your help. Is anyone aware of any instance where Ricco hand signed any of his cues (older ones)?
