Damnit!!!!!! When I saw the title to this thread I thought, "Well at least you don't have blue balls." Sure enough I start reading and you, Drivermaker, have already made the comment!!!!

Is it bad that I think like a dirty old man, LOL?????

I had a lot more cases of those when I was a dirty young man! :p

Mother's Plastic Polish.

Be prepared to spend about 20-30 minutes a ball, but it works, it will remove yellowing from age. But, Blud is right, those balls are supposed to be more cream than white.[/QUO

I am going to try this product. I wonder if it will work using a ball polishing machine?

Thanks, Tom

Quit looking for the easy way out. Use some elbow grease and burn a bunch of BTU's. ;) :D (Don't forget to do some Pilates and jumping jacks to warm up)

The yellowing is in the outer layer of the balls. The only way to remove it is to break down the outer layer. Do you really want to do this?

Send them to me and I'll run them through my ball cleaner, and polish them up for you, N/C. I can get some of the yellow out, but they are supposed to be a cream color.

That is really nice of you Blud. I just sold a sneaky of yours that I had for many years and it sold for just a little less than I paid for it. He got a good deal and a helluva cue.

Just curious, how long ago has it been since they were cleaned with bleach? Also if it has been longer than 4 months, are there any chips or cracks on the cue ball? Check it out if you do not mind. I would appreciate any info. Thanks in advance.

I tried to use bleach and they were fine as long as I wiped them right away and put them in one by one. However, I did not wipe one of the balls for a bit and it became pink. This is not a joke. The ball looked pinkish and the color would not go away. It was very bizzard!

It was a cheap set of balls, not the Brunswick or Aramith.

Plastic huh? The problem is that the bleach does penetrate the plastic.

Because Asians have yellowish skin, hence the term Twinkie for Asians mixed with white.

Were those cheap balls made of plastic? Well the worst part was that they were not mine...
They belong to a friend who owned a poolhall and now he has a pinkish cue ball in one of his set. :(
He has tried a lot of things but none seemed to work.

I don't know what that means and I've never heard it. All I know is if I WOULD HAVE SAID THAT...every board jerkoff would have come flying out of the woodwork calling ME a racist POS, even though it sounds harmless!!
