I have a couple of scuffs/ rubbs in my cloth. Is there any way to make the threads lay down or make it less noticeable? Thanks in advance for all replys. Regards, Kennyratt

a few suggestions.

There are a lot of things you can do... depending on what you mean by "skuffs" or "rubs". First if there is serious damage to the cloth I recomment you contact a good reputable local table mechanic. But there are a few things you can do. First clean and brush the affected area and the rest of the table. That should take care of most of the problem. If not, you can wipe down the area and the rest of the table with a very lightly moistened cloth and then iron the bed cloth with a clothing iron (SET ON LOW TEMP), making sure to keep the iron moving smoothly over the surface. Do not let it set in any one spot. But again if there is any serious damage contact a local mechanic and have him come out and take a look.:)

If you have bee's waxed seams your going to be sorely disappointed if you run an iron across it....

Yes, but.

I have ironed bed cloth successfully for years. And I do all my seams with bees wax. First please note that the iron must be set on a very LOW setting, next... as I suggested, it is important to move the iron smoothly over the surface, making sure not to leave it set in any one position. If these directions are followed it works just fine. If the iron is set too high or if it is allowed to set on a seam for any period of time then it can reach temperatures high enough to melt the wax which would then wick into the cloth. :)
