How do you go about installing the decal on a 314 partial once the work is complete? (other than the finish)
I am at a total loss:confused:

I had this same problem and KJ told me what I was doing wrong. It is not a decal. Actually it is a transfer. You just cut the paper out and put the logo down on the shaft where you want it an rub the back of the paper with a screw driver shaft or something similar making sure you have rubbed the entire area. Then gently remove the paper backing and the transfer will stay on the shaft. I do this after the sealer has been put on but before the finish. Be for warned though, the last batch of decals that I received with the blanks, the transfers were stuck to the wrong sheet so that when installed them they would come out backwards.

Was the last batch water slides maybe?

No. Out of the six I received, two would transfer and the other four wouldn't. The first one I tried transferred like always but it was backwards. I thought it was on the wrong sheet before I started and I was right.

the 314 decal is a dry-transfer

Use a dull pencil and scribble over the back of the logo with light pressure until transfer is complete !

If you have any problems give me a call I'll help you !

Probably a Bad batch of transfers

Yeh, this is the first time I've had this problem since the 314-2's have come out. I've already done over 15 of these this year. I've never been asked for a Z until last week so now I'm waiting on a Z blank to arrive. I usually keep around a 1/2 dozen 314's in stock but no Z's.

This is the problem I am having. The decals are on the wrong sheet, and will come out backwards.
Now that I look at it closely, the transfer is on the thin sheet of paper, not the heavy sheet. Maybe I can tranfer it back to the heavy sheet so it will transfer the right way instead of backwards?
