This cue was passed down to me by a pool owner i knew. He told me the cue was passed down to him by another man, so it should be a few decades old. Its a four piece snooker cue, and the emblem was lost when he gave the cue to me... so i really dont know who made the cue... any help would be great!

I have one with blue wraps on it just like it.
My grandfather heard I was playing and told me he had
a cue that had been put up for years.
I was thinking Buska and all other kinds of good thoughts.
He has passed and I have the cue still and it will never
be for sale.
To most everyone its worthless
To me its Priceless

That's an inexpensive cue made by essentially anonymous companies in Asia in great quantities. No telling who made it. I doubt it was made earlier than the mid-1980's, or later than 1990. The value I'd say is less than $50.

Exactly except that I know my grandfathers was a good bit older than that.
Not any better or more valuable however just older.

The same type cue I would imagine has been around for a while.

Yup. I'm basing my dating on the appearance of the nylon wrap, which I'm sure is original.

I used to see a few of those in a case made for them. The case looked more like a chessboard case because of the multiple pieces.

The cue has a linen wrap. Also... the man who gave me the cue was over 80 years old, and he told me the cue was given to him around when started his pool hall... somewhere in the mid 70's. So the cue has to be more than 25 years old.

Oh, and the rings between the joints are weights to help change the cues weight. Each rings represents 1 once. The owner told me that the guy who originaly owned it did a lot of trick shots with the cue, and hustled a few dollars out of others pockets.
