I'm about to drop nearly six hundred buckaroos on a Schon cue. It's a tough one to find, but Seyberts has one, and also http://www.hawleys.com/

Seybert is c. $20 more, but I've heard good reviews. I was also impressed with Hawley's pledge of customer satisfaction, but merely stumbled upon the web site.

Apparently it's a divey pool hall in Dallas, but so far my correspondence has been all favorable with the owner and I've been really impressed with his informative and prompt replies.

Any thoughts, fellas?

Thanks a million!!!

Re: Hawley's Billiards inquiry

I've dealt with Hawley's Billiards as a mail-order customer for years and have never had a single problem with them. I recommend them highly and without reservation!

I have bought a few cues from them ( some being more expensive than the one your looking to purchase) and I have never had a single issue with them. I have recommended them to many people that have always been satisfied.

Actually, Hawley's Billiards billiard supply and the pool hall are separate places,
though right next to each other and owned by the same people I think.

I have never bought anything from them but I have been to both places.

Ok

I've bought an SCHON from them an no problems EXCEPT if you want LD shaft from Predator that will properly fit, do not purchase the shaft from them. That, you MUST get from Seyberts. Ask SCHON about the problem with a Predator shaft not lining up properly and they'll send you to Seyberts.

So, for my money, if I was ever going to purchase another SCHON, I'd go to Seyberts for the whole thing.
