Any with a valley bar box and/or a diamond bar table: please measure from the head rail bumper to the foot spot. I'm trying to see how much of a difference there is between tables when breaking. My home table just seems smaller and would like to compare. Thanks for any info.

A pool table is twice as long as it is wide - 2:1. Imagine two perfect squares put next to eachother, and that gives you your playing surface. The foot spot is directly in the center of one of those squares. Divide the length of that square in half and you get your answer - 1.75ft.

this is actually only true in theory,,,,,,,problem being that a 7 ft table does not have a 7 ft playing surface. More likely it will measure about 76 inches bumper to bumper, so from the foot spot to the bumper should measure about 19.5 inches.
