Help us improve the QMD Stroke Trainer

We need to finalize the enhancements for the next QMD software release soon. In addition to the features below we also have had requests for:

o Showing the speed of the shot
o Allowing you to adjust the sensitivity of when QMD detects a shot (to avoid accidental taps on the cue tip or not missing a real soft shot).

Anyone have any more suggestions? If you're not familiar with QMD and don't have a unit you can still install the free Android/Windows software (see the Downloads page of www.cue-md.com) and get a feel for how it works with the sample shots included. That may give you some ideas of what else you'd like to see.

Appreciate your comments. Please post them here or email info<at>cue-md.com.

Thanks

We're working on improvements for our next version of Windows/Android software for QMD (www.cue-md.com) based on comments we've received. Some of you may already be familiar with QMD, if not please check out our web site. The main idea behind QMD is to help you develop/refine a straight, consistent, well-paced stroke as the basis to improving your overall game.

I'd like to ask for some ideas that you think will make QMD more useful, easy to use and get some discussion going on using technology in pool training.

So far we have...

o Add a 'level line' to the 'cue ball view' showing any twisting of the cue stick during your stroke.

o Generate a maximum sideways variance number to a shot (to show you in degrees how far your stroke varied laterally).

o Generate an average shot for a practice session (to show you an overall 'profile' of a practice session).

o Add Export/Import of a practice session. This will let you export (to the 'cloud') and share your sessions with anyone (such as a coach). Or perhaps some Pro would like to show us what his stroke looks like.

Appreciate your ideas. We're hoping to refine a new way for players to improve their game and need your help.

Thanks
