So I've been looking for a nice cheap (I know those words dont belong together) pool table and I think I might have found one. I dont have money to go out an buy a pro-am and I'm just looking for something to put out in the garage for few years until I'm able to upgrade to the table I want, anyway I have a few questions....
They want $75 for this table and the guy says the slate isnt cracked and is in gokd shape, which is mainly what I care about, aesthetics don't mean much to me for now. These are the only pics I have of the table and the sides (skirt?) Are not there so what is pictured is what I'd be getting.
Does anyone know how I can identify this table based on the pictures? I plan on dismantling the table and transporting to my house with some help from friends and then hiring a professional to do the reassembly, refelt, level etc. Or I may just try to find some gently used simonis and attempt myself. Like I said the table is only $75.
Any thoughts on this table? Do you think its a good purchase? I'm really just looking for something to practice on in the garage and I do plan to upgrade in 3 or 4 years when we sell our small house for something bigger. I'm definitely no pro but I do love the game, so I want something that plays well, has a slate bed, and something that if this humidity in Houston takes it toll on I wont be devasted haha. I may end up replacing the rails too but I dont want to sink a bunch of money in table this cheap and that I'm only going to have a few years.
Sorry for the long and poorly worded post, I'm just now figuring out how to post pics, and new threads and stuff. I've been a long time reader of this site but not very active.
