Help with AzBilliard thief

Several months ago I posted how I was looking for a BreakRak

I received an email from a person who identified himself by giving the info from a very respectable person on the site well known as a BreakRak seller.
He says he’ll sell me a BreakRak pro for $300. He even sent a picture.
I agreed but said I’d pay half until received and he agreed. He’d only take Zelle for some reason. I got lots of his emails until I asked for a tracking number. All of a sudden he disappeared. It was only $150 but I’m pissed.
Beware of his email addresses, they are:
Hotrotrabbit@aol.com
Joshualeehana@gmail.com

Please feel free to contact this thief as often as you like to ask him anything you wish. If this criminal gets enough stuff in his inbox he just might quit his scams. Anyone getting email here saying he will sell you what you have listed as wanting, try to get his phone number or other info.
Your help is greatly appreciated and may think he, or other scammers to think twice before stealing money from our members.
There is no doubt he is the thief. He sent his last email saying he was laughing that he stole my money. Share his emails with all your contacts to make them safe against him too.

Did you post your email address publicly?

Was there an AZ chat started?

Scammers cruise the internet looking for emails to take conversations off of websites and scam in privacy
 
I told the mods here that they should only allow Paypal Goods and Services since its insured. Nobody bothered to listen. I'm sorry you were scammed. There's a reason why you don't use these payment methods.

It wasn't an AZ transaction! A guy posted his email address online and a scammer emailed him off of AZ

There are plugins for blocking the posting of email addresses, but that's just common sense

If you post your phone number in a bathroom stall, you can't yell at the bar if you receive questionable phone calls
 
He got me too using a different gold az members account name. Brutal!

There's one that says "send dick pics to" on the bathroom wall at one place we play league but every time I play there the old cell number is X ed out and a new one is below it.

Like of like a modern day chain letter! (y)
 
Ok, ok, everybody, I’m an idiot. All the posts indicating that I’m wrong makes me the dead horse everyone can beat on.
That said, not one person said they would help by emailing this guy using both addresses I supplied and give him a ration of crap what a lowlife he is. Share the email too. Maybe a public outrage directed at him would have an effect. For those using a computer and being computer could write him something that would entice him to reply. If he did, you could possibly see an IP address (can’t do that on an iPhone unfortunately) and with the IP, maybe you could let me know approximately where he lives. Then I could pass the info on to his local cops who just might investigate.
If forwarding an email he sent me to you and you could find his zip that way I'll do it.
Everyone take care and have a safe 4th of July. As a 30-year, now retired fire fighter, I’ve seen many accidents with injuries so I know careless people are at risk.

Sorry bro but there's no 'AZ Police Dept'. Even if there was it wouldn't cover what you did 'TO YOURSELF'. Don't ever post an email on a open line. Its not other AZ members job to wipe up others messes. You live, you learn. Lucky your lesson was only 150bux. Others doing the same thing have been hit for thousands. Paypal G&S is the best way to do biz unless its a good friend you know well. You didn't know this guy from adam.
 
Just for the hell of it i tried both those email addresses. Both came back as non-existent. This thug is pretty good at this. You weren't his first, or last, rodeo. I tried searching the name too and there are multiple 'JoshuaLeeHana' living in the Phillipines. good bet that's where your money went.

My comments are not meant to give you shit Steeler Fan, Just matter of fact comments.
I do no believe there is anything wrong with the site. Yes people can not be trusted, yes there are thieves everywhere.
I myself am new to the site. since june.
I have already had many easy pleasant transactions. only one small problem which was resolved by the seller.
This goes for anyone making a purchase. just do some research and reading. you can see how long someone has been on the site as one indicator.
Theres a feedback system and rating and reviews of previous sales and purchases for people.
Just dont rush into a purchase unless they are well known. use your best judgement also on the risk vs size of the purchase.
Use goods and services paypal. and for large purchases there is escrow.
Yes there are some occasions where people accounts have been hacked. but there is an active community here trying to report on that.
Hopefully that helps people in the future.

It's also possible for member accounts to be "hacked" (usually due to weak passwords).
Always enable 2 step verification for sites you do any business on. It will guard against that kind of thing.

There has been a development here. Played there tonight and it seems someone has taken offense to the most recent phone number posted there!

I will bring a sharpie to get things back on course next time we play there. PM me with appropriate phone numbers.:D
