Anoyone out know what the thrread used on weight bols for Brunswick and Joss cues?? i believe they are the same ones acutually since they are made together if I'm not mistaken...AND can those taps be found readily at Home Depot or othe rhardware store??? help thanks:D

both my Joss cues have 5/16-14 threaded pins. I didn't know that they used any other size.

www.cuestik.com has taps in that size. You can't buy them in any hardware store, etc. because of the unique tpi, 14.

He asked about the weight bolts.....they are 1/2-13.......set screws.

At the time that Joss was making cues for Brunswick, the wght. bolt was a 3/8 x 16 with a hex head. To remove the bolt, you would need a 9/16" socket that had the side-wall turned down to allow access because the bolt is countersunk into the butt cap. Let's not confuse the guy.
