Help with consistency problem

Hi, I'm relative new here, so nice to meet you all.

I think I have a serious problem with my consistency which I'm unable to figure out a solution and I hope some of you can give me some insights to my problem.

I'm a B or B- level 9 ball player and average I can run 5~7 balls on a standard 9 ft table.

I usually practice 3 times a week and play twice with some of very good league players in our pool hall.

As recently I changed my cue from a Mezz to a custom Joss, I change from a LD shaft (WD700) to a standard maple shaft as well. Trying to adjust to my new cue that I have been with for about 2 months, I have done some statistics on my game and realize my performance is somehow non-consistent at times.

Usually once a week or once in 2 weeks I ended up playing badly, behave like a C- player. I thought it has something to do with my stroke or I'm not getting used to my new cue, but the more I'm trying to adjust, the lousier I will be.

I don't know what's wrong and yes I had instructor coaching me before and he said my stroke is good. Is there any drills or any suggestions that I could improve my game?

Thanks
Vincent
