Help with Cue maker initials

A buddy of mine was doing some work at a house and the guy had a few cues in a gun safe.

My buddy, curious, asked what he had and if any were for sale.

The guy says yes this one, and pulls out a bar cue with a wood to wood joint with green collars on the shaft and butt.

Signed in the points was the initials MRD?

Anybody ever heard of this? Or know who could have made this?

My friend took a pic and I haven't seen it yet so I'm going buy what he told me.

Can't find anything in the third Blue Book....

Rico, that r12 plays awesome.....love the colors...happy new year and ill call when we are playing crooked stick again in the spring.....

Mike Durbin is j. Michael Durbin so I doubt it but I thought about him first.
