help with helmstetter id

hello all,
i have this helmstetter that i need help with the model number on.
has 5/16x14 threads,6 veneers- 3long and 3 short.
xx on the butt.(was also wondering about that,ive owned(seen not owned,sorry) helmstetters with "v" and "xx" and have no idea what they mean.)

hello,
was also wondering when they switched between the 5/16x14 and 5/16x18 thread count.does this depend on the model or was their a timeline involved?
i have a helmstetter (97-9 or rh-9) that has the 5/16x18 bolt which i feel would be newer.
on this website they say its a rh-9 "formerly 97-9"and the rh-9 has the 5/16x14 bolt.

The 'XX' on the butt makes me curious.
I bought a lot of house cues in the 80's and 90's...
..the XX denoted 'second' because of cosmetic flaws...
..I would buy them at 30% to 50% off.

I've never seen 'XX' on a cue of that quality.

the "xx" was covered by a weight sticker when i bought it.

if you look at this post ,number 9 has a "xv",number 14 has what looks to be a "xv" as well.

I might have done Helmstetter a dis-service here, Huck.
It just struck me that X is 10 and V is 5 in roman numerals..
...so the X's and V's could be model numbers.

..however, this reluctance to use Arabic numerals could indicate
Islamophobia...
