Help with identifying a Mali cue?

Trying to do some research on this pool cue I had found... I would like to take a stab at it that it is a 1st generation? There are hardly pictures out there of this kind with the marking on the butt of the stick. I have found a one picture through Google but there was not much information on it. Was just wondering exactly I have if it is worth anything. I know I didn't hit a gold mine here because it looks very plain...just was wondering if it was worth shooting around with or getting rid of it and picking something else up! Any help would be appreciated from anyone! Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the large imgur pictures too :( Hope it helps with some details though if needed...

The main thing is do you like the way it plays nothing else really matters does it ?
Most of those old Mali cues hit pretty solid

check out this thread about mali cues maybe it will help http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=295182

Can't see the pictures at work, but most Mali cues are about $100 or less current value. They were pretty decent cues though, I owned one and from what I remember it had a good hit, reminds me of a Joss, maybe a bit stiffer on the one I had at least. Not as many people know about them so probably would harder to sell than a McD or a Joss, if it's a no points or inlay cue, it may not be worth more than $50-60.

I've never played with one with a metal joint, personally. From the pictures I'd think maybe $50 to play with as a bar cue. Wouldn't spend the money to flip it.

I have a cue similar to that one. About as close as I have ever seen. Mine is a 3/8 x10 pin, wood/wood joint, Green label (no box), Same wood w/ No points. Mine does have some little boxes inlaid just above the butt cap in a ring. I shot with mine for years and years and loved it mostly because it was a 60" cue. I am 6'2" so I prefer a longer cue.
