hello,

i have been working on my kicking game due to number of safes i find myself in, now my question is where can i learn return kick safes? i watched the denver stream last weekend and saw some really good creative return safes made. are there any books or videos which would help. i am tired of successfully kicking out of a safe only to leave an open shot for my opponent.

Well, I'm sure the general response will be that you have to know where each ball is going, then adjust for that to get what you want. I will say that safeties and kicks are covered in the VEPS (disc 3 is all safety info, disc 4 is kicking/banking). If you combine those two discs, I'd think that'd be a great place to start practicing. I think the real key is getting the speed down. Kick-stick is, imo, one of the hardest kick shots to judge speed on - at least for me.
