Help with predator shaft

I have a predator butt that has a stainless uniloc joint but doesn't have a shaft. I was thinking of buying a 314-2 shaft with it. Does a shaft for a uniloc wood to wood predator sneaky fit? will it do any damage on he shaft if since the wood will be sitting in stainless? affect hit?

Before I sold one with a stainless joint, I had one of each. From an aesthetics point of view, the collarless shaft looks very odd when on the stainless joint. I didn't notice any difference in playability, but the wood-wood "feels" better in my opinion.
