Fu#*#! scammers!
I notified ebay and had the auction ended. They were also trying to sell a guitar on my ebay account. The lady i talked with on ebay said 1 way to keep them from hacking your account is changing your password every 30 to 60 days. I can't remember my wife's b'day much less and ebay paasword every 30 days. Sorry baby!roymjr said:Someone has gotten in my ebay account and listed a Hercek cue for sale. Yeah it was a bit of a hassle but i got it taken care of. To top it off i got this guy that keeps emailing me(Jacckor@hotmail.com) about a 2nd chance offer on a Szamboti. I told him i'd do the deal as long as we used an escrow agent. He said he has lost his items in the past with escrow.....pooor guy....fu#!#* creep!TATE said:I saw that and I recognized the pictures by UGOTDA7.
Did they change your password and e-mail address with E-Bay too? You must have signed into a phony e-bay e-mail.

I'm staying away from all 2nd chance offers. I know alot of people frown on ebay but to tell you the truth i've met alot of decent, honest people all over the U.S. thru ebay. I stay in contact with them to this day, swapping, buying and selling cues with them.TATE said:That's probably how they got you. The second chance offer has a phony sign-in screen on E-Bay then they get your account info. Wouldn't you just love to get your hands on one of these guys?

They were selling $10,000 Plasma screen televisions, fortunately I log in every day and caught them right away. They changed my password and secret question, which made it nearly impossible to regain control over my account.
Anyway, long story short, turns out I was infected by a trojan virus (keystroke logger) from a PowerPoint file a work associate sent me. You don't always have to give your passwords out to fake ebay emails, sometimes they come to you.
