6th World Championship Ladies 3-Cushion in Guri Korea Aug 25-27. Korea time is GMT+9... if you stay up past midnight here in the USA you can catch some live action on Kozoom.

Ester Park from the USA is playing. She won her first two games and is a lock to make the 8-player single elimination final stage. Final qualification matches still to be played.

Day Two - Qualifications and quarter-finals complete.

Ester Park made the finals... but lost in the quarter-final round. Therese Klompenhouwer is still the favorite averaging over 1.0. Mee Rae Lee in the semis (our long-shot pick!)

The semi-finals and finals on Saturday August 27.

Wow... incredible finish as Therese Klompenhouwer repeats as the Ladies 3-Cushion World Champion. But not without a fight and a scare as the final match was equalized by 21-year Mee Rae Lee and thrown into the penalty round. Lee was the lowest ranked player in the field at the start of the tournament, but played world class billiards to the very end. Even though the tension got the best of her and she lost, she is surely an up and coming star to watch.
