Here's my Blue Grass cue.....

I had a couple of these saved on my computer...so thought I'd throw them up.

This is the Blue Grass cue I bought from gutshot. FYI - GUTSHOT IS FANTASTIC TO DEAL WITH. COULDN'T BE NICER, AND COULDN'T BE EASIER TO SEAL A DEAL WITH!!!

This cue looks and feels awesome. Can't wait to take it out this weekend for a spin on the tables. Perfect player's weight, flawless condition, and 1 shaft is new/never played! This cue is EXACTLY what I wanted......and tons of praise to gutshot for making it happen!

Yes, the camera caused the bend in the shaft.....no, it's not a boomerang!!

Thanks for the kind words. Mark was great to deal with and I would not be hesitant to deal with him again. That cue is in the top 3 Blue Grass cues I have ever played with. It really makes me sad to let her go At least she went out with a bang. I won the last tourn. I played getting a cool $600. Much more satisfying than a lotto ticket!

Not so sure about your tourney being better than the lotto, though....my ticket made getting this cue possible!!!....so I have no complaints!

Now all I need is a nice Justis, Murnak, or Whitten to put her in!

A great score, Rat!!! Nice looking Blue Grass. The one I have always lusted after, is the one I missed about 5 yrs ago on eBay....pic is up on Proficient's website.

I do have a Murnak in Black Cherry, but it is only a 1x2....but he makes a real nice case, no matter the size.

hey Ktown, excuse my "ignorance", but wouldn't being a "famous" hustler kinda defeat the purpose? I've always tried to stay low key, but it's hard in a city as little as this. everyone knows everyone playing pool. nice cue Rat!!

Blue Grass update....

All,

Since I'm regulated to only a couple cues now, I was somewhat concerned about putting all my eggs into the Blue Grass basket. Of all the nice custom cues out there...I was taking a huge risk on buying one I had no previous experience with, and just HOPING for the best.

Well, much like my winning lottery ticket that made buying this cue possible for me, I WON THE GAMBLE on this cue, too!!!!!

I took this cue out for a few hours last night, and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. To be honest, I really wasn't into the "wanna play" mindset when I left the house...but just HAD to take her out for a spin. My mood turned on a dime when I hit the first ball. I could even feel the look of shock on my face after it dropped (it was a corner to far corner shot with a TON of draw). The hit, feedback, balance, and "sound" of this cue is nothing short of PERFECT.

Of all the cues I've owned or shot with, this is.....BY FAR....the sweetest hitting cue I've ever owned........AND YES, I'M KEEPING IT!!

And, I just wanted to take an extra minute to thank Gutshot (Kelly) for such a fantastic transaction, and such a great cue! I really do feel lucky about being able to buy this one (now that I know I like it!! ).....and I very much appreciate Gutshot being able to get me into it! Excellent person to deal with.....and as nice as they come.

Awesome! I knew you would not be disappointed. It makes me sad to see her go, but I got a little better hitting (and better looking) Blue Grass coming this week hopefully that I have been wanting for some time. Not all is lost.
